Wrought Iron Fireplace Tools are Outstanding Equipment

All fireplace tools have their definite functions in your wood-burning place. Some of these fire place equipment are the shovel, tongs, and a steel-handled broom which must be placed in a wrought iron stand. Usually, these tools come in sets with at least three items of various shapes, sizes and finishes that match with other accessories of the wood-burning place. It is very important to provide fireplace tools around the hearth to easily maneuver with the logs and to keep the warmth all night long.

Each of these tools has their definite functions in the fire place. The screen is simply to protect the flames from throwing out and to keep children away from the flame to avoid burning. It is s special shield for the hearth that also serves as an attractive accessory which is made of wrought iron.

The ash bin is used to collect ashes easily and conveniently from the hearth. These ashes will scatter if the flames are too much so they should be cleaned up and placed into the bin. The logs are not effective when too much ash has blocked their surface for they hardly reach the kindling point.

The pieces of woods and wood holder go together like the horse and the carriage. It is important to keep the holder as well as the log always dry to produce good fire. A moist log can also produce smoke which is very unpleasant to the people around the fire place. You must remember that the fire place if the coziest part of the house and people love to gather around here.

The Cleaning and sweeping activities like these on the base of the fire place are easy with the use of the iron-handled broom. The shovel is used for piles or heaps of ashes to be taken out of the fire place, while the tongs are used for picking up flaming wood that has dropped outside of the hearth. These are some of the functions of the fireplace tools.
