Seven Positive Recommendations For An Awesome Flick To Watch Today

By Julie Rocha

You must look for a website that provides a substantial selection of movies. If the movie is still at the theater and it has yet to be released on video it will not be accessible yet on a legal service. Just like the video store or subscription service, you can only download films that have been released on video. One benefit however, is that the collection should be better than your area video store because computer files do not take up tangible space like hard-copy videos do. Most of the sites will offer music and games too.

Select from the commentaries below and download a fantastic film to view today.

Night Nurse - Exceptional, hard story of nurse (Stanwyck) who could not forget about weird goings on in home where she works. Blondell adds zingy support and it is one of Gable's most inspiring early appearances. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, Ben Lyon, Joan Blondell, Clark Gable, Charlotte Merriam, and Charles Winninger.

After Life - This is a brilliantly crafted storyline of case workers at a train station between the heavens who aid the recently departed to single out a lone minute from their pasts to live inside eternally. This is a serene, lyrical assessment of life, death, and memory, filled with soft humor and blessedly free of some feel-good platitudes. Cast includes Aarata, Erika Oda, Susuma Terajirna, Taketoshi Naito, Kyoko Kagawa, Kei Tani, Takashi Naito, and Yusuke lseya.

Faces - Extremely personal drama in regards to many infidelities is one of the few Cassel movies to become a big hit. Here's a commanding movie with grand action, particularly by Carlin and Cassel. Cast includes John Marley, Gena Rowlands, Lynn Carlin, Seymour Cassel, Fred Draper, and Val Avery.

On Guard - A devoted swordsman saves a child princess from the evil grasp of her nasty opponent. The tot's dad was also the swordsman's guru. A enchantingly old-styled popcorn film that is full of action and set in the France of Louis XIV. Cast includes Daniel Auteuil, Fabrice Luchini, Vincent Perez, Marie Gillain, Yann Collette, Didier Pang, and Philippe Noiret.

In Enemy Country - Unremarkable WW2 story, set in France and England, filmed on a back-lot. Not extremely persuading. Cast includes Tony Franciosa, Anjanette Comer

Adam's Apples - This movie is a bizarre mysterious comedy about two very diverse men who have a battle of wills. It is a newly developed religious fanatic versus a hard core neo-Nazi criminal. The battle of good versus evil is on. The main stars are Ulrich Thomsen, Mads Mikkelsen, Nicolas Brom, and Paprika Steen. (German-Danish-comedy directed by Anders Thomas Jensen)

Hanky Panky - Blameless designer Wilder is chased by snoops, cops, etc. Unsurprising, hardly comical comedy-thriller, with Radner miscast as the love interest. The flick was intended to be a follow-up to Stir Crazy, although Richard Pryor's part was revised for Gilda. You've watched it all before, and better. Cast includes Gene Wilder, Gilda Radner, Kathleen Quinlan, Richard Widmark, Robert Prosky, Josef Sommer, and Johnny Sekka.
